Rohan, whose maiden venture Thirudiya Idhayathai did not do well at the box-office, is back to play the hero in Century Raagam. Actress Diya plays his ladylove in the movie.

The movie went to floors on Sunday with the likes of Sathyanarayana, president of All India Rajinikanth Fans Association and noted politician Natarajan taking part.

Speaking about the film, director Prabha Raj, says,'It's long time a movie on musical theme was tried. Century Raagam, as the title suggests, would be a movie which would be quite different from the run-of-the-mill stuffs. Both the hero and the heroine play stage singers'.

Speaking on the occasion, Rohan said, 'The movie features me in a different role and I hope would be a perfect launch pad for me in my career'.

Expected for release on 15 August is Century Raagam.
