Buzz is that director Perarasu is keen on casting Nayantra as the heroine for his next venture Dharmapuri, which stars Vijayakanth in the lead role. 

Having already had Nayantra appearing in an item number for his Sivakasi, Perarasu is hopeful that he can convince the actress to be part of his movie.

However Nayantra is not keen to take up the role. It is said that the actress, though having acted opposite senior heroes like Sarath Kumar and Rajinikanth, is busy acting with young heroes in Tamil and Telugu now. She is acting with Silambarasan and Jeeva.

Hence it is said that she may not accept the offer. However Perarasu is confident on getting her call sheets.

A M Ratnam produces Dharmapuri, starring Vijayakanth, for Sri Surya Movies and would go to floors on 6 July.

This is Vijayakanth’s maiden film after being elected as MLA from Vridhachalam in the recently concluded elections.
