Director Perarasu teaming up with 'Captain' Vijayakanth for Dharmapuri is making the headlines for the right reasons.
Shooting for the movie being produced by A M Ratnam of Sri Surya Movies is on at Tiruchi.
Expectations are high since it is the first film by Captain ever since he was elected as MLA from Vridhachalam on behalf of his newly - floated DMDK party.
It was rumored that Vijayakanth would spell out his future course of action and his political inclinations through the movie.
However when spoke to Perarasu, he said, 'It is a commercial entertainer. Politics does not find a place in the movie'.
We have consciously avoided any dialogues referring to his political activities, he adds. . Perarasu also denied that he was playing a role in the movie. ‘When the unit hands requested me to appear in a couple of scenes, I acted in Thirupathi. Otherwise, I am comfortable behind the camera’.
After drawing some criticism for his over-the-top cameo in Tirupathi, Perarasu seems to have learnt his lessons pretty fast. And that is smart.
