Srikanth had a lucky escape on Wednesday when the car in which he was traveling was hit from behind by a speeding lorry in Chennai. His car sustained pronounced damage. But fortunately Srikanth escaped with minor bruises.

Srikanth, the romantic hero of Kollywood, was returning home in his car from gym on Wednesday evening. When he stopped his vehicle at Kodambakkam after spotting a red signal on the road, a speeding lorry hit his car from behind.

Following a complaint lodged with the traffic police on duty, the lorry was removed from the scene and taken to the police station.

A relieved Srikanth thanked Almighty for his lucky escape. It may be recalled that a few years ago, he met with a similar accident on the same road in the city.
