The announcement of Jyothika that she would concentrate on domestic bliss and hence stay away from films has come as sad news for her legion of fans.

But most of the fans understand that it was also inevitable.

Jyothika, who has risen to the top after hard grind for nearly a decade, deserves the time away from the spotlight.

The bubbly actress's void would be hard to fill.

Says V R Ramu, one of her die-hard fans, Jyothika was the best thing to happen to the industry in the last few years. Her absence will be felt.

Points out V Kulasekhar, 'Jyothika showed that glamour and skin show are not exactly required to make it to the top. In this age and times, this was indeed great'.

Jyothika also improved on her acting skills and her performance in Chandramukhi was memorable.

Jyothika has just two films to be released --- one is Gautham's Silandhi and the other is Mozhi for Prakash Raj production.
