Actor-director K Bhagyaraj made it big with his comeback film Parijatham. Besides directing the movie, Bhagyaraj played an important role in it. It was followed by a decent portrayal in Unakkum Enakkum. The movie too witnessed a good response at the box-office.

Currently he is playing an all-important role in Kaasu Irukanum. Bhagyaraj, who is planning to commence his next directorial venture shortly, has now accepted to act in a movie opposite Devayani. The movie is titled Athan and is produced by M Natarajan and M Anandhan.

The movie also features Manivannan, Balu Anandh among others. A newcomer Jayanth plays the hero in the movie. Kavitha Ravi would direct the movie.
