Watch out for young Prakash
IndiaGlitz [Thursday, September 21, 2006]

Remember the voice of the young boy in the song Chiku Bukku Rayilae in the movie

Gentleman? He is G V Prakash, nephew of music wizard A R Rahman.

Now after almost a decade he is stepping into the shoes of his uncle. His maiden venture as a music composer in director Shankar's Veyyil is out in the market and is reportedly doing a brisk sale. Veyyil's audio is moving out of the shelves in the audio shops at brisk pace. He is still in his teens, but has managed to come up with a catchy music.

Director Shankar heaped laurels on the young music composer. He said, 'The quality and the commitment of the young lad are impressive'.

So was director Vasantha Balan. 'At a young age, one wonders at the energy level and the commitment to excel in Prakash', he says.

Watch out, Prakash has made a perfect beginning and is sure to go places.
