Director Major Ravi is planning a sequel to his maiden directorial venture Aran. The good response for the movie in Kerala and parts of Tamil Nadu has encouraged the director to come up with a sequel.

Major Ravi, who is tipped to direct Mammootty for a Malayalam movie next, has planned to cast Kamal Haasan and Mohanlal for the sequel.

He has reportedly expressed his desire to both the actors, who are acclaimed for their histrionics.

While Mohanlal was part of Aran playing the role of Major Mahadevan, Kamal Haasan lent his voice for the movie in the opening scenes of the movie.

Now it is for the actors to decide on the project. However Ravi is hopeful of getting the go ahead from the two, who are currently busy with their movies respectively.
