Vasu's Thottal Poo Malarum has started to roll.

The movie, which introduces P Vasu's son Sakthi as hero, went to floors very recently.

Acting opposite him would be debutant Gowri Munjal, a native of Delhi. Vadivelu, Santhanam, Sukanya are  in the cast.

According to Vasu, the highlight of the movie would be Raj Kiran. He plays a matured role in the movie which would be appreciated by one and all.

'Raj Kiran, who is choosy about his films these days, was convinced with the storyline. He plays a major part in the movie', he added.

Interestingly Vasu is also introducing another son through the movie. Acclaimed cinematographer Ashok Kumar's son Akash is debuting as cameraman through Thottal Poo Malarum.

Vasu, who has a great regard for thespian Sivaji Ganesan, shot the opening sequence for his movie at the place in AVM Studios where Sivaji Ganesan first appeared for Parasakthi.

Plans are on to shoot the movie in Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Pondicherry. The song sequences would be shot in Australia.

Says Vasu, Thottal Poo Malarum would hit the screens on Valentine's Day.
