After Azhagi, actor Parthiban now plays the lead role in a movie titled Azhagigal.

Interestingly Parthiban plays the role of a writer, similar to one he performed in Thangar Bachchan’s Thendral. The movie is about commercial sex workers.

After Pachchakkuthirra, Parthiban is optimistic that Azhagigal would touch the hearts of the film buffs. Would well repeat the magic of Azhagi.

Meanwhile, two films featuring Parthiban, Ada and Rowdy has been shelved.

Another of his movie initially titled Kartha has now been changed to Sooravali.

Parthiban is happy to don the role of a writer in Azhagigal. According to him, ‘I play the role without being inspired by any popular writer.  It has hopefully come good’.

Meanwhile, the actor-director is planning to commence his next directorial venture soon.
