The much expected Sarvam featuring Suriya in the direction of Vishnuvardhan is dropped now. The movie was expected to commence on 27 October and photo sessions were also completed. A couple of tunes composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja were also ready.

But now the latest buzz doing rounds is that the project may not take off featuring Suriya. Confirming it, Vishnuvardhan, said, 'I and Suriya mutually decided to back out of the project. However my next directorial venture would be Sarvam but would feature a different hero and a different producer'.

Without disclosing the reasons, Vishnu, said, 'we are still good friends. Mutually decided to part from the project'.

Suriya would now team up with director Murugadoss for his next. After Ghajini, the two come together for a movie again produced by Murugadoss associate Sampath.
