T Rajendhar is committed
IndiaGlitz [Wednesday, November 08, 2006]

Actor-director Vijaya T Rajendhar is known for his bold talk.

A man of many moods, Rajendhar is optimistic of completing his home production Veerasami at the earliest and releases it by the yearend.

Addressing media persons in Chennai, the actor- director, said, ‘I am the only producer in the industry today to churn out a movie without borrowing money from the financiers. I keep faith in my story and screenplay. At a time when actors of my age have taken to character roles, I continue to do the lead roles’.

Veerasami starring T Rajendhar, Mumtaj and Meghna Naidu went to floors almost a year ago.

He further adds, ‘I have shot the movie in a huge set put up at the cost of Rs two crore at Simbu Garden in Chennai. It would emerge the blockbuster of the year’.

On his son Silambarasan’s Vallavan, a proud father, Rajendhar said, ‘considering his age, he has done a tremendous job wielding the megaphone. It has collected good revenue. A Hollywood production house has urged Silambarasan to do a movie for them’.
