Among the Deepavali releases, E stood out for its interesting and innovative story. It was a theme that was new to Tamil cinema and its audiences. Jeeva, the film’s hero, also came up with a memorable performance.

The film delayed at the production stage itself. Producer R B Chowdary said that he was annoyed with the delay and hence had not spoken to the film’s director Jananathan for nearly two months.

‘Now after its release I know the wait was worth it and we had to increase the number of prints,’ the beaming producer said.

That is not all, as a crowning glory, E is now going to be sent for the national Awards.

There is every possibility of the film getting one.
