Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, son of actor-director Bhagyaraj, is optimistic that his maiden venture Sakkarakatti would make it big.

According to debutant director Kala Prabhu, it is a love story of course, but not one of the routine fares.

"There is glamour but no sex. This film will not make viewers squirm in their seats," he says.

Mumbai girl Ishita and Vedika play the heroines.

Says Shanthanu, "My maiden venture is produced by popular production house Kalaipuli International and has musical score by A R Rahman. Certainly a dream-come-true for me to be part of this youthful film".

Story, screenplay, dialogue and direction are by Kala Prabhu. Thanu, father of director Prabhu, is the producer.

Let's hope the sons succeed in their maiden venture.
