Choreographer-turned-director Prabhu Deva is a happy man these days. His maiden directorial venture in Tamil, Pokkiri, starring Vijay and Asin has been declared a major hit.

It is said that the dancing sensation of Tamil cinema will be doing a Bollywood movie for noted producer Boney Kapoor. Meanwhile, the big news is that Prabhu Deva has been assigned to direct a movie featuring Chiranjeevi, in Tollywood.

Prabhu Deva will direct Shankardada Zindabad, a sequel to Chiranjeevi's Shankardada MBBS. The shooting for the movie would begin this February.

Buzz is that Prabhu Deva has been paid a huge sum to direct the movie.
