Kamal Hassan watched a special screening of Karthi's Paruthi Veeran in Chennai on Sunday.

Taking time off his busy schedule from Dasavatharam, the actor attended the special show of Paruthi Veeran.

Impressed with the movie, Kamal Hassan poured encomiums on director Ameer.

A seasoned campaigner in the film industry, Kamal Hassan appreciated Karthi for his excellent performance considering the fact that it is the young actor’s maiden film.

It may be recalled that Chief Minister M Karunanidhi and Superstar Rajinikanth had earlier watched Paruthi Veeran and appreciated the cast and crew of the movie for their good work.
