TR strikes a century

Actor-director T Rajendhar should be a happy man now. His Veerasaami has successfully completed a 100-day run across theatres in Chennai Friday. Produced, directed and enacted by him, Veerasaami released this February has run successfully.

Says T Rajendhar, "I am happy that amidst films starring young heroes, my Veerasaami has made it big. I thank my fans and film-buffs for the success. Due credit should be given to all those involved in the film. T Rajendhar is busy getting script ready for his next production which would star him in the lead role".

Mumtaj, hitherto playing glamour roles, playing a power character in Veerasaami. She says, "The success has given me a fresh image in Tamil cinema".
