Kamal Haasan, who is busy shooting for Dasavatharam, called on Chief Minister M Karunanidhi at the latter's residence in Chennai on Friday.

Sources close to Kamal Haasan say that it was just a courtesy call. Kamal Haasan has been shooting day and night for Dasavatharam which is shaping up very fast.

The movie features Kamal in ten different make-ups. Kamal, who has reduced his weight considerably chose to avoid taking part in public functions and has been staying away from arc lights.

However he called on Karunanidhi and complimented him for successfully completing 50 years as legislator.

Meanwhile buzz is that one of the 10 roles the actor doing in Dasavatharam is that of popular pop singer Daler Mehendi.
