Keen to score a hat-trick is Karan. His Kokki and Karuppasamy Kuthagaitharar, both featuring him as hero, have gone on to become hits. Now he is ready with his next Thee Nagar.

Thanking the audience for making both his earlier movies count, Karan says, “I am confident that Thee Nagar too would make it big. It has a strong message for today's youth”.

Karan plays a college student in the movie and has considerably reduced his weight. Udhayathara plays his heroine.

The movie has musical score by Jassie Gift.

Directed by debutant Thirumalai, the movie is a campus love story. Karan plays a Student's Union leader and champions the cause of students. His life takes a turn after he meets Udhayathara.

The shooting has been wound up and plans are on to release the movie at the earliest.
