Chief Minister M Karunanidhi has heaped laurels on 'Superstar' Rajinikanth and showered praises on him by writing a poem.

Rajnikanth had recently watched a special screening of Periyar and expressed his admiration for the movie.

Praising Rajni as a man of honesty, character and culture, Karunanidhi has said in his poem that it was his pleasure to have such a nice man like Rajnikanth as his friend.

“One cannot express about the good heart of Rajni”, he said.

Karunanidhi added that he was very happy to know that the 'topmost actor' has watched the film on Periyar and had praised the leader.
