Nila, the tall and cute actress from Delhi, made a splash with Anbae Aruyirae. Though her subsequent films did not make it big, she is optimistic that Marudhamalai will change her fortunes.

The actress has received a pat from director Suraj, who is wielding the megaphone for Marudhamalai.

According to Suraj, ‘Nila is like a director's parrot. She does what a director wants from her. She can ooze glamour and perform her role with comfort too. I believe that she can go a long way in the industry. It was comfortable working with her’.

She is now shooting for Simbu's Kaalai besides Marudhamalai.

Marudhamalai, produced by Oscar Ravichandran, features Arjun and Vadivelu in prominent roles.
