A section of Tamil film artistes are peeved at the set of new guidelines and rules implemented by the Producers Council and the Actors Association (Nadigar Sangam) recently.
On condition of anonymity, several artistes in Kollywood have expressed their displeasure at the rules implemented.
According to the new guidelines, actors and producers should compulsorily make themselves as members in the respective associations.
Also, no caravan facilities would be provided by the producers to actors and actresses in shooting spots. If the artists want the facility, they have to pay for it from their own pockets. Moreover, usages of mobile phones are banned in work places (shooting spots, editing, dubbing and recording theatres).
In addition, actors and actresses should directly hold talks with producers and they should not involve with PROs and managers in the task.
Also, an agreement with all details including remuneration and call sheet has to be signed by both the parties before commencing the shooting of the film.
