Nandita Das, in many of her interviews has earlier expressed her desire to wield the megaphone, calling the shots.

The actress who was the part of the cast in the latest Adoor film Naalu Pennungal in Malayalam seems to have studied much from the master director and is now giving serious thoughts about directing a film.

According to the reports, her debut film as director, which is in Hindi, will start shooting in December this year.

The actress, who is presently into location hunts for the film, has also confirmed the cast list though she hasn't made it official yet.

It is learnt that she is very keen on casting Naseeruddin Shah and Paresh Rawal in her film.

Though Nandita is reluctant to talk about the cast, Paresh Rawal confirmed that he is doing her film. Her film is all about family ties and relationships.
