It is no easy joke to do comedy roles, says Vishal. Having carved a niche for himself doing action-packed roles in movies including Thimiru, Sandai Kozhi and Thamrabarani, Vishal is trying his hands at comedy for the first time in Malaikottai.

Directed by Boopathy Pandian, Malaikottai features Priyamani opposite Vishal.

Vishal says, "It was a different experience doing comedy role. Hopefully it has come good".

Vishal, a great fan of veteran comedy actor Goundamani, says, "I wish to invite my favorite star Goundamani to watch for the preview of Malaikottai. I admire him in all his movies".
