Director Sundar C, who has emerged a busy actor, is a happy man now.

The director-turned-actor, who is currently acting in over half-a-dozen movies, will romance with a couple of heroines for his next 'Perumal'.

'Perumal' features Namitha and 'Karuppasamy Kuthagaikarar' fame Meenakshi opposite Sundar C.

The movie is directed by Vincent Selvah, who churned out several films including 'Priyamudan', 'Youth' and 'Jithan'.

Srikanth Deva is scoring music for the movie and popular yesteryear song 'Oh, Rasikum Seemane Vaa' is being remixed for the movie.

Shooting is on at hectic pace in Chennai, Puducherry, Pollachi and Hyderabad.

Plans are on to release the movie this December.
