'Billa' is fast gearing up for a release this November.

A thrilled producer Anandha Suresh says, "The movie is a sincere remake of yesteryear Rajnikanth hit titled the same. The movie released in 1989 set a new trend and brought star status to Rajnikanth. Hence we chose not to make any changes in the story."

'Billa' features Ajith in dual roles with Nayantara and Namitha playing his ladylove. The cast includes Prabhu and Santhanam.

Says director Vishnuvardhan, "We have shot in remote areas of Malaysia. A couple of stunts were shot in a Hanging Air Bridge in Malaysia. Ajith performed the stunts original."

“The songs have been shot in grand sets in Malaysia and scenes recreating Thai Poosam were shot in the foreign land”, he adds.

The movie has music by Yuvanshankar Raja, cinematography by Neerav Shah and editing by Srikar Prasad.
