Though 'Unnale Unnale' Vinay opted out of 'Anandha Thandavam' at the last moment, director A R Gandhi Krishna has commenced shooting for the movie with a newcomer playing the lead role. Tamanna plays the heroine.

The shooting commenced in Ooty last week and major scenes featuring the newcomer and Tamanna were being shot. Gandhi Krishna directed 'Chellamae' starring Vishal, Reema Sen and Bharath a couple of years ago.

'Anandha Thandavam', produced by Oscar Films, hits the floors sans fanfare. G V Prakash Kumar scores music for the movie. A sizable portion of the will be shot in Malaysia.

Tamanna is awaiting the release of Balaji Sakthivel’s next movie 'Kallori', in which she plays the female lead.
