Chief Minister M Karunanidhi watched a special screening of selected scenes and songs from ‘Uliyin Osai’ at the Four Frames Preview theatre in Chennai.

The movie is based on the story by M Karunanidhi penned a few decades ago. Directed by Ilavenil, the movie is about a sculptor and his romance with a young classical dancer.

Vineeth plays the title role while the cast includes Akshaya, Keerthy Chawla and Sarath Babu.

A special screening was arranged in Chennai on Wednesday in which few scenes and song sequences picturised so far were screened for Karunanidhi.

An impressed Karunanidhi appreciated Ilavenil for his good work. He said all the star cast has performed very well and hopefully the movie would be completed very soon.
