Director Madhumitha has dared to deal with a delicate subject in her 'Valamai Tharayo'. She deals with a dilemma of a girl to choose between her lover and husband. While Parthiban is plying the lead role as the husband, Madhumitha, is trying to rope in Srikanth to handle the role of the lover.

It may be recalled that Parthiban turned down the offer to play second fiddle to Srikanth in Kana Kanden, despite serious efforts taken by director K.V. Anand. But Srikanth, who has taken it in his stride, seems to be positive about the offer to act with Parthiban. 

Madhumitha is in touch with a few more young actors, as Srikanth is yet to give his final word on the offer.
