Vasantha Balan of ‘Veyyil’ fame is ready with his next project ‘Angadi Theru’. It goes around the story of the life in and round a street.

The lead role is portrayed by new comer Magesh, who is a state level volley ball player. He belongs to the lower middle class rung of the society, a face that the director closed in on after screening thousands of other faces.

The heroine of this film is Anjali of ‘Katrathu Thamizh’ fame. Vasantha Balan seems to have liked Anjali’s acting skills in the movie and booked her immediately for this film. Anjali seems to have made a mark on the industry with her down-to-earth looks and attitude.

The dialogues are penned by Jayamohan, a distinguished writer in this field.

Ayangaran international, which is into making the mega movie ‘Robot’ is producing this simple, realistic, and small-budget film too.

Vasantha Balan, who is quite excited by his Cannes experience (because his ‘Veyyil’ was showcased at the Cannes film festival), is gearing up for the release of ‘Angadi Theru’.
