The day is much awaited by the viewers, where they would be able to watch their favorite stars felicitated by the biggest award that the industry possesses.

The Red carpet was set at Yashraj Studios, Mumbai on 23^rd February 2008, where all the stars and big numbers from Bollywood turned up which turned their fans into an enthusiastic mood. Crowd waited anxiously to get a glance of their favorites. Many of them turned out to be the soul of the show.

The fair of stars all started up with a big smile as the very great comedian Rajpal Yadav had a great entry followed by melodious singer Shreya Ghoshal. Media and Fans couldn’t afford to take off their eyes from the big stars of the night. Fardeen waked hand in hand with wife Natasha so did Hrithik with wife Suzzane Roshan. This time Hrithik tend to be media friendly the idea which John Abraham didn’t supported. John headed straightly to the function with none other than Bipasha Basu. Deepika Padukone was the centre of attraction while everybody waited restlessly for dashing Ranbir Kapoor. Priyanka looked gorgeous as ever. As per many guesses the two Deepika- Ranbir didn’t arrive hand in hand.

As it was the black lady’s night, all the female actors appeared in an evening black gown where Deepika was admired most, but on the other side Kangana Ranaut chose to be much more in peace and was in a white one.

When it came to awards everybody had “Taare Zameen Par” and “Chak De” on their mind for the best film and Kareena was everybody’s choice for the best actress award. It seemed that Shah Rukh Khan and Darsheel Safary the child actor had a close competition, for which somebody had their own views and where some were clueless.
