Chithambaram and his son Karthi P. Chithambaram. It also shows the renowned Evangelist Dinakaran and his son Paul Dinakaran. There are two other pairs viz., dance master Sundaram - Raju Sundaram and media barren Aadithanar -Sivanthi Adithanar.

It not quite common that we come across famous fathers having famous sons. The competitive world and the democratic environment naturally discourage such combination emerging in public life. However, some outstanding sons of famous fathers defy the rule and become famous in their selected field.
