'Sakkarakatti' is ready for release. The movie, in which K. Bhagyaraj’s son Shanthanu makes his debut as hero and Kalaippuli Thanu’s son Kalaprabhu as director, has been delayed for a long time for many reasons. The film has now been completed and ready for release.

Bhagyaraj, who saw the first show of film said to Thanu, who arranged the show that, “I came here to see the movie in which my son acts as hero. Now I go back with the satisfaction of seeing the film of your son”. Thanu took this complement from the master script writer and successful director as a prestigious award for his son.

The highlight of the movie is A.R. Rahman’s music. Thanu wants to have the audio release function in March itself and plans to bring the music wizard as chief guest.
