Vikram will play the lead hero in K S Ravikumar's film. He is currently acting in the direction of Maniratnam and Susi Ganesan respectively.

With the first being a dream come true experience for Vikram, the second decision is being viewed as a planned move to secure his position in the tinsel town.

Ravikumar, a specialist in making commercial movies in record time (excluding ‘Dasavatharam’) would direct Vikram in an out and out masala flick, whose shoot would be completed in 45 days. Nayantara would act opposite Vikram in it.
