Director Sasi is confident that his next film ‘Poo’ would make the right kind of noise in Kollywood.

'Capturing rural milieu on film is not an easy task. Having grown up in a cosmopolitan city like Chennai, I chose to stay in a village in Rajapalayam and study the lives of people before commencing with the shooting', says Sasi.

‘Poo’ is based on a short story Veyilodu Poi by Thamizhselvan. Srikanth plays the lead role while popular Kannada actress Parvathi is the heroine. The rest of the cast are newcomers.

Sasi has introduced three writers as actors in ‘Poo’. Prominent writers Lakshmana Perumal, Bharathi Devi and Janaki play important roles in the film.

'A major portion of the movie has been completed and ‘Poo’ will bloom well', he added.
