Sons succeeding their fathers are as normal as breathing in the Tamil film industry. Joining the huge list are director Thambi Ramiah and Rajeshwar's wards.

Thambi Ramiah, a popular comedian and an acclaimed director will introduce his son Umpathy as hero. Also Rajeshwar, who directed movies including ‘Amaran’, ‘Sevalaperi Pandi’ and ‘Kovilpatti Veeralakshmi’, will launch his son Vasanth as hero.

Rajeshwar is currently directing ‘Indiravizha’ with Srikanth and Namitha in lead roles, while Thambi Ramiah, after ‘Indiralohathil’ will direct a movie titled ‘Oru Koodai Mutham 100 Rupai’.
