Gangai Amaran is a man with multiple talents. A musician-cum-lyricist-cum-director, Gangai Amaran is back to score music after a long gap.

Having scored music for several hit films in the early 1980s, Gangai Amaran has been roped in for 'Selvaraghavan BE', directed by Paranthaman, an associate of director 'Selvaraghavan'.

The director has chosen the title as a mark of respect to his mentor. Gangai Amaran has penned the lyrics for many a movie besides crooning for songs as well.

His directorial venture 'Karakatakaran' went on to become one of the biggest blockbusters in Tamil cinema.
