Ramana, the director of Vijay movies 'Thirumalai', 'Adhi' and the Dhanush starrer 'Sullan' is acting in the lead role in a film titled 'Gudhirai'. Actor Nasser would produce the movie, and the direction part would be handled by Ramana's former associate Rajasekar.

Kerala girl Brighty has been roped in to play the female lead in 'Gudhirai'. The movie would go to the floors on the 14th of this month. Vydhi, who hit headlines for his alleged relationship with actress Kaveri is cranking the camera.

Music is by Sabesh-Murali. It is said that 'Gudhirai' is an out and out action film laced with romance and comedy.
