Actor Karan plays a full-fledged action-packed role in a movie titled 'Kandha'. The movie is to be directed by debutant Babu K Vishwanath and features Karan is the role of a man who is on the revenge mode.

Dhina scores music for the movie which is produced by Kalpana Palanivel. The shooting for the movie kicked off on Friday.

Speaking about the project, Babu K Vishwanath (Thiruvarur Babu) says, 'I am happy and thrilled to direct an actor like Karan for my maiden venture. He is tailor-made for the role. The movie is laced with action and humor.'

'The entire story unfolds in Thanjavur. Unlike recent movies which were made around Madurai, we want to showcase Thanjavur', he adds.

Kerala girl Mithra plays the heroine.  Sakthi R Selva, who worked under A R Rahman, will be scoring music for the movie.
