Jyothirmayi who was much appreciated for her performance in the movie 'Periyar' has clearly stated that she would be equally happy to perform in glamorous roles.

'Marriage would really not stand in the way of performing glamorous roles', said the married actress. She probably would go ahead and prove it.

''I am doing glamorous roles in many films, and would like to continue to look pretty and sexy on screen''   She is presently having a glamorous outing in a Kannada film, Bandhu Balaga. Jyothirmayi was also the heroine in the movie'' Adayalangal'' which was selected as the best in the year's state awards.

Jyothirmayi will also be seen in an out-and-out comedy role for the first time in her career, opposite the talented Pasupathy, in the forthcoming Tamil film ''Vedigundu Murugesan''.
