Director Sasikumar has every reason to celebrate. Not only is his debut venture 'Subramaniapuram' doing terrific business, it has also earned him a great name and film critics are already clubbing his name in the list of great directors.

The retro classic that 'Subramaniapuram' is, featured director Samuthiraikani in a negative role. It was a powerful role that was very vital for the film. While filming for the second schedule of 'Subramaniapuram', Samuthiraikani stated that Sasikumar would play protagonist in his forthcoming film.

The time has now come for that to happen. Shooting for the film that'll have Sasikumar as hero is slated to happen from the first week of September. The cinematographer for the film is Kathir. The hunt for the appropriate heroine and the rest of the cast and crew is on currently. The film is to be produced by a new company.

Since Sasikumar has rendered a huge hit with his maiden venture, expectations would definitely be sky-high for his second film. In order to be ready for that kind of expectations the talented director is planning to venture into direction only next year….probably January.
