Bharath - Nila starrer ‘Khilladi’ went to floors almost a couple of years ago. Produced by Salem Chandrasekhar, the movie was shot for few days.

Due to financial constraints, it was shelved. Now after a long gap, efforts are on to resume the shooting.  Director Venkatesh, known for his racy commercial entertainers, has completed ‘Durai’ starring Arjun, and is back to shoot ‘Khilladi’.

Bharath has grown to become a force to reckon with in the industry. He has rendered several hits and is acting in director Hari's ‘Sevval’ followed by a movie with Suresh Krissna and K S Ravikumar.

“‘Khilladi’ is a racy entertainer and is full of thrills and action”, says Venkatesh.

It may be recalled that Jeevan's ‘Thotta’ met with a similar fate. It was completed after much difficulty and the movie managed to become a hit running for 100 days.
