Following the exit of Malavika from the film ‘Karthigai’ after hurling charges that the producer had tried to misbehave with her, it was announced that Namitha would do the role, which requires heavy dose of glamour.

However, for reasons better known to producer Anjaneyalu and director Veera, it has now been announced that Nisha Kothari would replace Malavika.

The actress, who made her debut in Tamil as Amoha in ‘Jay Jay’, later changed her name Nisha Kothari and acted in a couple of Ram Gopal Varma films. She hopes that ‘Karthigai’ would mark her second innings in both Kollywood and Tollywood.
