Director Vijay is geared up for the release of ‘Poi Solla Porom’. A remake of Bollywood hit ‘Ghosla Ki Ghosla’, the film features Nasser, Nedumudi Venu, Karthik and Piya among others.

Says Vijay, “Remaking is not that easy. Even my first venture ‘Kireedam’ starring Ajith was a remake of a Malayalam hit. One has to be careful while doing remakes and retain the flavor of the original”.

Speaking about the film, he says, “It is an enjoyable film. One can sit back, relax and enjoy the film. The senior and the young artistes have combined well to render magic on screen. Music by M G Sreenivas is other major highlight”.

Heaping laurels on Ajith, he says,”He is a rare blend of Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth. A man to reckon with in the industry”.
