Anjali started her journey in Tamil Cinema with 'Kattradhu Thamizh'. Her impressive performance alongside Jeeva won her accolades. She played an emotional role with much perfection.

However she managed an image makeover in her next film 'Ayudham Seivom' opposite Sundar C. However the actress is upset with the film as 'most of the scenes in which she proved her prowess were chopped off from the movie.'

Says the young actress, 'I don't want to interfere with the rights of a director. But I feel bad that the importance of my character has been reduced in the name of editing. I put enough efforts to deliver my best.'

However, Anjali has loads of hope with the film 'Angadi Theru'. 'The script by Vasantha Balan has enough importance to my role. I hope that the film would fetch me a good name,' she says.
