Saranya Mohan graduates to play heroine
IndiaGlitz [Wednesday, August 27, 2008]

The petite and cute actress Saranya Mohan who played sister roles in the movies 'Oru Naal Oru Kanavu' and 'Yaradi Nee Mohini' has been chosen to play heroine in the first production venture of Abhirami Ramanathan (owner of Abhirami Mega Mall), 'Panchamirtham'.

The film is expected to be a laugh riot with talented artiste Nasser playing a very prominent role.

'The song 'Palakkatu Pakkathile' in which I featured with Dhanush became very popular and director Raju Eshwaran who was appointed to direct 'Panchamitham' wanted me to play heroine', says a happy Saranya Mohan. The actress had completed a song sequence for the film in Ooty which saw Gayathri Rahuram as choreographer.

Though Saranya Mohan will be seen in the soon to be released movies 'Jayamkondaan' and 'Mahesh, Saranya Matrum Palar' in less prominent roles, she has already bagged the heroine roles in the films 'Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu' and 'Eeram'.

With her cute and innocent looks, the Tamil film industry might just welcome her as a heroine with open arms.
