After 'Sivappathikaram' and a cameo in Rajinikanth's 'Kuselan', 'Mamta Mohandas is shooting busy for 'Guru En Aalu' opposite Madhavan.

Says the actress, "It's a God-sent offer. I just couldn't believe when I was asked to act opposite him. I am an ardent fan of Madhavan since my college days. The movie has an interesting storyline and I am thrilled to be part of the subject".

Given a chance to select between acting and singing, which one do you prefer? When Mamta Mohandas had to face this question, the actress, who is of late concentrating in singing too, said, 'Though both are important to me, I would like to go for acting'.

Explaining the reason, she said, "Acting is my career whereas singing is my hobby. I want to shape up my career with all attention without letting down my passion for music. I will travel in both the boats".
