The film 'Kaarthigai' hogged the headlines when Malavika had a rift with the producer of the film for alleged 'manhandling'. This incident saw the exit of the actress from the project and actress Amoha was roped in as the replacement.

The film is currently being shot in Hyderabad where a song sequence involving Vikramadithya and Amoha was shot. Sources reveal that the filmmakers spent forty lakhs for this song that has been shot in an extravagant fashion.

The film also stars Samiksha in a negative character.

Interestingly, the latest piece of information that has surfaced is that the portions that were filmed with Malavika are to be retained and that Amoha would be featuring as a bonus in the film.

This makes one wonder if director Veera has actually tailor-made the script to accommodate all the ladies involved. The name of the game is showbiz and so heightened entertainment is definitely acceptable.
