Interestingly 'Evano Oruvan' starring Madhavan was a remake of a hit Marathi movie 'Dombivilli Fast'. His under-production 'Guru En Aalu' is inspired by the Bollywood hit 'Yes Boss' starring Shahrukh Khan.

Buzz is that Madhavan is planning to remake a hit Bollywood entertainer 'Namastey London' which features Akshay Kumar in the lead role.
