Sneha has been assigned to do the role enacted by Rathi in the remake of the yesteryear hit 'Murattu Kaalai'.

Kalaignar TV will co-produce this Chief Minister M Karunanidhi's grandson, Gunanidhi's maiden production venture starring actor-director Sundar C in the lead role. The title of the film has not yet been announced.

'Murattu Kaalai' was released in 1980. Suman plays the baddie enacted by Jai Shankar and Vivek plays Suralirajan's part. The film would be directed by Selvabharathy.

Sneha has been roped in to the Rathi's role. Buzz is that a glamour actress would play the character played by Sumalatha. Meanwhile Sneha is shooting for a film that is inspired by Vijayashanthi's Vyjayanti IPS. She dons the khakhi for the first time in her acting career.
